Tick... Tick... Tick... All of a sudden, an alarm rang from the insides of my pocket. Phew, it was finally six o' clock, I can knock off from work now! Sweeping everything on my table into my suitcase in one huge gesture, I headed straight to the car park after saying goodbye to my colleagues. With the radio and air-conditioner switched on, and the image of my family and a warm dinner waiting for me, I felt relaxed and started the journey back home in a good mood. It was at Yishun Avenue 1 when I slowed down as the speed limit here was slower than on the highway. Out of the corner of my eye, I spotted a blue Mazda RX-8 that overtook me with surprising speed. I caught up with it just in time to be the witness to a terrible accident. The Mazda appeared to have flipped over a guardrail and crashed into the side of a hill. The glass panes were shattered, the doors flung opened, and even one of its wheel was sent flying off due to the impact of the crash. The entire body of the car was wreaked. I slowed down and got off my car immediately. I couldn't ignore such a serious car accident. I founded my handphone in a surprisingly short time and dialled for the Police and the ambulance. I snapped a shot of the mangled wreak, I am prepared to send it to The Straits Times as it would surely make headlines. After the Police arrived, I answered some questions and returned home for my dinner, ready to spill the events that just took place to my family. It was certainly a eventful day.
After a hard day's work,I was listening to my radio on my car, when "BOOM!!"a piercing sound pierced through my ears.I immediately stepped on the brake and parked my car aside.I got off the car, taking out my handphone and phoned the hospital's hotline.I then took the picture of the wrecked car. Soon the ambulance arrived and the four men,who were conscious, with cuts and minor injuries on their faces and shoulders were brought onto the ambulance and brought to Changi General Hospital. There have been 29 people who lost their lives on the road in the past 2 years.
Feeling terribly exhausted after such a long and tiring day, I drove home in my car with the windscreen wound down and the songs blasting as I tapped to the rhythm of the beat. Driving along Yishun Avenue 1, I heard a tremendous "boom" and got a shock of my life upon seeing what had actually happened. A almost-new Mazda had flipped over a guardrail and up the side of a hill! The car was a mangled wreck, with fragments of glass and bits of other damaged parts all over the ground. I recovered from my shock quickly, took a picture of the horrendous sight and sent it to The Straits Times portal Stomp. Thank goodness, the four men escaped death with cuts and minor injuries to their faces and shoulders. After this horrifying incident, I myself learnt a lesson too and I promise never to allow these accidents to befall on me. Let this be a lesson taught to all drivers too, don't ever speed and talk on the phone oblivious to the surroundings. Be extra careful when driving as it concerns the life of the passengers, not only you. Always remember, speeding can kill!
Driving along Yishun Avenue 1, I almost fell asleep after a hard day's work. As i leaned over the steering wheel, my head slammed onto the steering wheel and I gained consciousness and stepped on the brakes immediately. My head was singing afterwards. Suddenly, a brand new Mazda Rx-8 zoomed past me and the next thing i knew, the brand new car flipped over the railing and up the hillside.I was shocked upon witnessing this terrible accident. After skidding to a stop, the once brand new car looked just like a gigantic crushed can. One of its wheels also flew out due to the impact. My first reaction was to whip out my cell phone to phone for the police and the hospital, not forgetting the STOMP. I also took a picture of the mangled wreck. A police car and two ambulances arrived at the scene. The car was so badly crushed and I thought that there should not be any survivors. Surprisingly, four men in their early twenties came out of the car with some abrasions and shoulder injuries despite the condition of the badly crushed car. After this incident, I was afraid of losing my life and I will shout at my father to slow down the speed if I ever catch him speeding.
Steering the driver’s wheel, I sat comfortably in the driver’s seat driving along Yishun Avenue 1, heading home under the afternoon sun. However, the peaceful atmosphere was interrupted by an alarming and terrifying scene. A series of events happened in a speedy few seconds and left me dumbfounded. Regaining my senses, I was aghasted to see a Mazda RX-8 flipped over and up the side of the hill. My first instincts were to report the accident and capture a photograph of the badly-crushed car. Fortunately, it was a non-fatal accident as both the driver and passengers only suffered some minor injuries. Another car accident had once again happen to young drivers. I hoped that all these accidents that had happened should make a stern warning for the other drivers to be more aware of their safety while driving on the road.
I was knocked off from work after a hard day's of work, longing for the comfort of my bed. Listening to my favorite music on the radio, i felt more distressed and relaxed. Unfortunately, i was caught in a traffic jam. Suddenly i witnessed a terrible sight, a wrecked Mazda RX-8 had flipped over a guardrail and onto the pavement at Yishun Avenue 1 . I took a picture of it and sent it to The Straits Times portal Stomp. The car was a mangled wreck but it was a relief that the four men in the car had escaped with only some cuts and minor injuries to their faces and shoulders.
I was driving home from work, along Yishun Avenue 1 whilelistening to the radio broadcast when I came upon a shocking scene. An almost-new Mazda RX-8 flipped over a guardrail and up the side of a hill. I phoned for the police and ambulance and took a picture of the mangled wreck immediately. Initially I thought the people in the car had died on the spot, but luckily for the four men in the car, they escaped the wreck with just cuts and minor injuries. They were taken, conscious, to Changi General Hospital. Accidents like this could be avoided if drivers would be more cautious and careful when driving. It is the responsibility of a driver to drive carefully to ensure the pedestrians' and their own safety and to avoid innocent lives being lost.
Feeling extremely tired after a hard day's work, I drove home listlessly and was practically oblivious to the surroundings around me.To make it worse for me, I was caught in a major traffic jam. Travelling along Yishun Avenue 1, I heard a thunderous sound and was shocked to see a Mazda RX 8 had flipped over a guardrail and up the side of a hill. The car was so badly battered that it was beyond repair.Beside the car, there were many people and they were whispering among themselves in hushed tones. Feeling worried for the victims, I informed the ambulance and the police. After that, I quickly took out my handphone and took a picture of the wrecked car . Then, I sent the picture to the Straits Times postal Stomp. The victims turned out to be four men in their 20s. Lucky for them, they survived the crash with only minor cuts and injuries to their faces and shoulders. After this accident, I hope this can act as a stern warning to the other drivers to drive carefully so as to avoid unnecessary accidents from occurring.
I was driving home one day when I saw this car accident on Yishun avenue 1. I was caught a traffic jam round the band of Yishun avenue 1. I was getting frustrated as i waited for the traffic jam to clear. Just then something caught my attention, it was a wrecked car, I knew instantly that it was a quite new mazda RX-8. The front of the car was a total wreckage and i thought at first that the driver and the passengers had died on the spot but to my surprise i saw four people with bleeding forehead and arms. I could not believe my eyes at first the driver and the passengers were fine except for a few minor cuts around the arms and on the forehead. Just then the jam in front is starting to clear. i took out my mobile phone and snapped some of the car's photograph. When I got home that day, i posted the photograph on "THE STRAITS TIME PORTAL STOMP" and I realised that the accident could had been prevented if the driver is more cautious in his driving and he must also be RESPONSIBLE for the lives of his passengers.
i was driving home one day, when i witnessed an accident.the car, which was a new Mazda RX-8 was wrecked badly...The four men who were inside the car, escaped with few cuts and minor injuries. The men,who are above 20,were travelling along Yishun Avenue 1 towards Seletar Club Road around 1pm when the almost new Mazda was flipped over a guardrail and up the side of the hill.I was around there when it happened so i took a few pictures of it and sent it to The Straits Times portal stomp...I hope that this type of accident will no appear again as it can be avoided.
One day when i am on my way driving back home,i witnessed something terrible. This is what had happened... ...
I relaxing as i listened to the radio while driving home that day.As I am relaxing,I looked out of the window and saw a almost new mazda, speeding beside me.It took a short time for the driver of the mazda to overtake me.As I noticed, there were three more people in the car that had overtook me earlier on.
Then suddenly, the car flip over the guardrail and up the side of a hill.I was momentarily stunned. Not forgetting that I am driving,I parked my car beside the road and took a picture of the mangled mazda.Soon,a ambulance arrived and the four man,who were surprisingly still conscious, were sent to the hospital.
I sent the picture to ''The Straits Time'' portal''Stomp'' . Then after being questioned by the police,I went home...
After having lunch,as i was driving to my office,i listened to the music from my radio. My mind was so relaxed.Unfortunately,i was caught in a huge traffic jam.As i was driving through yishun avenue 1,i saw an almost new mazda, flipping over a guardrail and up the side of a hill.I immediately took my phone out and took a picure of the damaged carand sent it to "The Straits Time" portal "stomp".The four men who were in the car escaped from the wrecked car. They had cuts and minor injuries to their faces. The car was badly crashed after the accident.

Personal Recount :)
My car was filled with soothing music from the radio station . I was relaxing and enjoying the idyllic drive back home after an exhausting day at work . When I passed by Yishun Avenue 1 , I witnessed a horrifying accident that was happening . I saw a Mazda fly off the road and flip over the guardrail with tremendous impact . As it tumbled onto the hilly part of the other side of the guardrail , I noticed that the car was badly wrecked . I immediately fished out my handphone and called the ambulance hotline . After that , I snapped a picture of the mangled car . Soon , the ambulance arrived and the four men , who were surprisingly still conscious , were sent to Changi General Hospital . The police then questioned me about the accident and I told them all that I knew . After that , I was allowed to go back . I headed back to my car and restarted the long drive back home . It had been a long day .
After knocking off from a hard day's work, I was driving home to catch some sleep. I was listening to my favourite song on the radio when i was driving along Yishun Avenue 1. Then, something caught my eye. A blue-coloured Mazda RX-8 had flipped over a guardrail and had landed onto the pavement up the side of the hill! The car. which looked like a new car a few seconds before, was now totally wrecked! After I called the police and the hospital to get help, I immediately took a picture with my handphone of the badly damaged car and sent it to The Straits Times portal Stomp. It was a miracle to know that the 4 young people inside, who are in their early 20's, made it out alive and they only suffered minor injuries and cuts to their faces and shoulders. After witnessing this accident, I hoped that lesser accidents will occur this year.
After knocking off from work, I went home straight for my lunch. I drove past Yishun Avenue 1 and caught sight of a wrecked blue Mazda RX-8 which flipped over a guardrail and up the side of the hill. I was practically stunned by the scene in front of me. I came to a halt and walked towards the crowd. Its lucky for the young drivers to survive at such great impact while the car flipped over. If this continues, they will most probably lose their lives one day. I feel that they should pay attention while driving, as driving on road is dangerous. It should not be taken lightly as well because oneself could cause someones life or own self's life.
After knocking off from a hard day’s work, I was on my way home at about 1 p.m. I was at Yishun Avenue 1 when I noticed a wrecked Blue Mazda RX-8 which flipped over a guardrail and up the side of a hill. I took a picture of the wrecked car and sent it to the STOMP after finding out that the police were aware of the matter. The previous accident resulted in five deaths, thus, the four passengers that were involved in this accident were luckier as they escaped from the Mazda with only cuts and minor injuries on their faces and shoulders. They were taken, conscious, to Changi General Hospital. Young drivers should be more careful when driving vehicles. In year 2006, out of 1,283 drivers who were injured, 250 drivers were under 30. This shows that many young drivers get into fatal accidents.
I knocked off from work after an exhausting day. I decided to take a short-cut that was an almost deserted one, even though my instincts warned me that something unpredictable was going to happen. I drove steathily yet fast on the quiet and peaceful road. Suddenly, something blue at the side of the road caught my eye. This time, I drove very very slowly towards the blue thing. When I finally came close enough to see what it was, I was shocked and quickly call the police. There, was 4 semi-concious young men, no more that 30, howling in agony beside their crushed, smashed and wrekked blue mazda. I immediately took out my camera, after calling the police, to take some snapshots of the shiny car. It seemed very new, "what a waste" I thought as the car was really very beautiful, compared to my old and lousy Honda. The sirens of the ambulance and police car finally arrived after a short while of akward silence between the almost dead vitims and I. The peramedics put the bodies on the stretcher and left, leaving the police officers behind to take my statement. I said all I knew and then I was free to go. I gave the 'Straits Times' the picture that I took earlier on, so that they could publish it. ( and anyway, 'Straits Times' is always my favourite newspaper to read, since the past 10 years) I drove home feeling exhausted, yet satisfied, as i had done a good deed, saving 4 yong lives...
I just knocked off from work and drove in my car, feeling tired as always.Wanting to reach home immediately,I drove using a shortcut which would pass by Yishun Avenue 1.As I drove by,a horrible sight caught my eye.A badly crushed, blue Mazda was lying over the guardrail,up the side of a hill.I was incredibly shock at the sight of this.Several curious people were also crowding around trying to be clear of the situation.I pulled my car to a halt and alighted to see if there was any way that i could help. From what I heard from the crowd, someone had already informed this matter to the ambulance and police.Four young people were in that car and miraculously, they were all conscious and had survive through this incident. Then,I remembered having my camera with me,so I immediately took a photograph of the mangled wreck and sent it to The Straits Times portal Stomp. After witnessing this accident,I realised how unpredictable accidents would happen in life. So,I prayed hard and hope that lesser of these accidents would happen.
Exhausted, I drived home from a hard day of work. I felt so relaxed when I listened to the music in my car. Unfortunately, I was caught in a traffic jam. Later, I found out that it was caused by a fatal car accident that happened along Yishun Avenue 1. With 4 young men inside the car, the almost-new blue Mazda flew off and flipped over a guardrail and onto the pavement at Yishun Avenue 1. I fished out my handphone immediately, took the picture of the wrecked car and sent it to Stomp. The four young men were sent to the Changi General Hospital, with everyone conscious at that time. I was very flabbergasted as this accident could be fatal; the four men were very lucky to have escaped from the gates of hell! Here, I advise everybody to concentrate when driving and do not consume any alcoholic drinks, as it may cause such more of these accidents to happen.
I was driving towards home after a hectic day when I witnessed a car accident. I knocked of from work after a hard day's work.Listening to the music on the radio in my car , my mind was so relaxed.Unfortunately,I was caught in a huge trafic jam.Out of no where, a car with four young people inside flew off the road when it flipped over a guardrail.I was so shocked! The car looked badly crushed but all the passengers in the car manged to escaped the wreck. They were lucky to have only suffered cuts and minor injuries from this accident unlike the accidents that happned in this month which resulted deaths.
