After knocking off from a hard day’s work, I was on my way home at about 1 p.m. I was at Yishun Avenue 1 when I noticed a wrecked Blue Mazda RX-8 which flipped over a guardrail and up the side of a hill. I took a picture of the wrecked car and sent it to the STOMP after finding out that the police were aware of the matter. The previous accident resulted in five deaths, thus, the four passengers that were involved in this accident were luckier as they escaped from the Mazda with only cuts and minor injuries on their faces and shoulders. They were taken, conscious, to Changi General Hospital. Young drivers should be more careful when driving vehicles. In year 2006, out of 1,283 drivers who were injured, 250 drivers were under 30. This shows that many young drivers get into fatal accidents.
