Personal Recount (Lee Yun Qian)
I had just knocked down from work after a tiring day and was heading home in my car around 1p.m. I was listening to the music when I was driving. When i was on my way, I saw a badly wrecked Blue Mazda RX-8 on the pavement at Yishun Avenue 1. I was stunned at that moment! Though, I still drove to the side of the pavement and quickly called for the police. I too took a photo of it. After the police arrived, they told me that the four person in the car were safe with just a few minor injuries. What a relieve! While i was wiping off my sweat with the back of my palm. I later sent the pictures to the Strait Times Portal STOMP. After witnessing that incident, I realized how serious it would be if accidents happen. I also started to kick off the habit of listening to music when driving. I would just like to pray that the number of accidents would decrease gradually. For that to happen, all drivers should do their part by driving carefully all time as we don't know when accidents will happen.
