Dear 2Hians..
Little Ms Tan has arrived on 24th Aug in the evening... What an experience... all i can say you ladies and gentlemen better appreciate your mum ... cos it's tough.
First... I'm surprised that you people did not do well for the supplementary summary test!!! Its' so easy.. I want to know the reason why if you can enlighten me...
2nd.. I hope that all is well with Mr Lee and Ms Seet.. any problems or if you don't understand some concepts ,do look for Mdm Samboo too..
and yes.. if i can help you here.. about argrumentative essay.. (an essay that requires your opinion)- meaning you have to give a counter argument in your essay...
For example... your homework.. ( Children today in Singapore are deprived of their childhood. Do you agree?)
Remember to state your stand first.. in your intro..too
In your body of your essay (at least 3 reasons , remember)- Why chilren are/are not deprived of their childhood.. Then give examples... There are different ways of giving examples.. via personal situations, evidence, facts..
Then for the final para.. give the counter argument (opposite of your opinion) - reason why.. & examples..
Then conclude.. properly with your stand again..
Oh yes.. thank you for your suggestions about the name... but... maybe we will call her Kaelyn, if I have not found a further suitable name...

We went through summary test (:

MrLee was very strict uhhh.
then miss seet talked abt argumentative essays

dun really understand which to use.

anyway,
today,
still talked about argumentative essays.
then started doing the body of the essay :D
ugh.
still abit confused with the formats,
but he gave us assignment to hand in on next monday

He wanted to full essay with real information and details.

Hi there. This is my first and th last time I will post here. LOL. Just kidding lah. ;) Hmmm, gotten back our english paper today. 17.5/35 for me. *LOL* Well, at least I passed. For those who failed, dun be sad, there is still EOY for you guys to, er, work harder. Blea. LOL. K, more papers to be received, goodluck. Hey Hey there 2H-ians..
Up to today.. Miss Tan still does not want to see the light of the world yet and is still staying in mummy's tum-tum. Most likely on Tuesday though... I still have not found a suitable name yet.. this is so tough...
So how's life without me..?? Veena,Adeline & Kai Lin still having problems with their socks i guess... and stop being late in the morning.. You are on the brink of getting detention.
Great news.. that all of you got A1s for your Maths. Is it Common Test??? or something else?

Back post. i dun understand why my mum dun let me maple even though exams are over.
Argh my parents nvr praise when get good grades but will scold if get lousy marks. Hard leh. revise do notes everything also no use. Everytime get this crap. zzz
But good thing happened today. Our team got into finals for air competition. Yay! one sec 2 team and one sec 3 team. ahahaha need work hard too.
Rest well and have prepare for a full-fledged final lap.

I'm back after yesterday ._.
I was back home late uh,
i missed 4 buses.

so too late to post xD
hmms,
lets see,
yesterday MrLEE and MissSET made us do debating :DDDD
public caning should be abolished in school (:
there were 8 groups,
and 4 different roles :D
parents, teachers, students and counsellors.
each role had 2 groups,
one opposition and one preposition.
HEE (:
today just continued on debating :DD
finished up the counsellors x)
MissSET says we have no rebuts ._.
HAHA.
but we did lor.
maybe she cannot hear wad we saying,
or maybe our rebut too simple ._.
but they like never teach us how we should rebut in the end.
Ohyeah, they let us watch the arena :D
but showed only the first speaker.

HMT paper was quite okay,
but I took alot of time to think of the words I dunno how to write ._.
in the end never finish the last question -.-
Lit was also okay :D

Mdm Samboo is there to help.. the new teachers. Your class being the best class. She will see how Mr Lee and Ms Seet teach you guys.
So that she can give encouragement and pointers to them so that they can teach better. That's why there are so many teachers.

Day 1 of Maternity Leave...
Dear 2Hians
How's life without me on the first day? Veena mentioned on the tagboard that she can't believe I've gone on maternity. Time flies.. Soon I'm be back. So how was your EL Common Test today. Hopefully it was managable for you .
For day 1 of my maternity.... playing the waiting game of the birth is really ...as you say "SIAN". It can be really boring. So.. I'm marking your compositions.. and will get someone to deliver them to you when I finish.
I'll try to update the class blog with my news regularly.. and hopefully you guys and ladies will do so too.
Thank for the well wishes that your class made... read all your wishes.
As for my wishes, I have 2. First, have a healthy beautiful baby girl. 2nd, have all of you work hard and do well this year.
