HAHAH. Heard from a few of my friends that you're pregnant mrstan! It that true? If it is true then congrats, if not, jiayou. LOL.

That is the main point of today's post. But its okay, i can continue to crap on since none of you is posting and I'll be a kind soul here to type. HAHAHA. So how's school? Mine is okay just that its tiring and exams are coming. Nothing much to me la though. LOL. Bet all of you are studying like mad rite now. Esp. ppl from H and G. Cfm stress for you guys, mostly because of the sciences. Cfm plus chop.

Kaicheng was mentioning to visit during the March hols.. I said ok..
Last week was CT week, I hope everything went well..

Sec 3 is tough.. Sec 4 tougher.. So far.. I think 99% of you are making your effort to manage the stress. However, I am still concerned about the 1% who is not making any progress ... the usual ones who forget or never do their homework....

When you are Sec 3, you got to find your own solutions to make everything right, the teachers when see quality effort, is more forgiving, then when you don't use your head and think of solution to solve a problem that you might be facing...

Hope this advice sticks....

By the way, why no post since mine on 18th Feb..?

Work is really really hectic... I don't come home til 7.30pm .. SIgh... I'm beginning to feel a little heartache of not spending time with bb kaelyn.. but what to do? work is work..

Poor Jiayi.. don't be disheartened.. hahah 3H is just starting out.. like how we did when we were Sec 1s.. remember how I always "scold" the class of being not bonded.. Now the spirit is so strong.. I come into 3H.. like feeling at home.. hehehe... cos most of them I taught for 2 years...
Yes.. i realise that some of the people are really in their own world.. Anyway.. it will soon get better..

i started a 3H blog and the response is so, SUPER DUPER poor !
3H is quite, very not bonded and disintergrated into groups of their own class you know. =(
even when we try to talk ro some of them it's so obvious they dont want to talk much one. :(

ahhhhh.
hope te sec3 camp will make 3H more lively.
meanwhile, we should really try to keep the 2H spirit going..

First Day Back at School

hi People..

Today was a tiring day.. my body is trying to accustom itself back to the working life.. I have been "resting" (though not really if you count looking after baby kaelyn as resting).. Though I'm really happy to see you all, I'm still missing kaelyn.. my heart was at home all the while I',m in school.. First day of school and even before I see my classes.. the marking stacks flow in.. Sigh..

As I'm typing .. I'm marking SBQs...(multitasking).. Yes I agree with Jiayi.. a lot of stress and homework.. but we are 2H '09.. that's why we can do it... Like you .. I'm also facing stress..and separation anxiety.. but cos I'm part of 2H'09.. I know that I can get over it..

Just to share what my ex student.. who very sweetly.. reminded me.. and I quote " Tough days don't last, tough people do"

Tomorow will see Jasper , Val Toh and Veena in class.. among the new 3Ds... Let 's see how SS goes.. heheh

Woah, finally found time to post here.

Just came back from school not long ago. Today was our first, umm, house meeting. Blue house was assigned the MPH x) weeeeee! Cos we were the champion house last year ! :D ALOT of people signed up for the C' boys running section x) yay ! Haah, hope we'll emerge as the champion again this year (:

LOL and we were shown this video of rainbow center during assembly, before our house meeting. Mr Tan also told us about his niece. I was holding in my tears all the while lor. LOL, i have no idea why but I've somehow became even more sentimental this year. God.

Anyway, did homework in school den went home. Still have more waiting x__x sec 3 life is indeed hectic. Why, January is almost over ! We are fast approaching February alr .___. Not long after, the entire year would be over. Sigh. Time does pass very fast.

Oh yeah ! Sec 3 camp is approaching...! Wahaha, it sounds like super ultra fun ! :D although the boom-net is kinda scary, from what I'm imagining. LOL, the flying fox too. But its still gonna be fun x) and i heard we'll be spilt into groups of 2 classes each. Hmm, so i figured my class would be grouped with 3C then.

Well, i shan't say anymore. Going back to my homework ! (:

Tomorrow is Friday.. and some of you might say.. "Thank GOd is Friday!!!".. Well.. another 3 days and early rising for me starts.. apart from the waking up in the middle of the night to look after Kaelyn..

Everybody is really busy with school work now I guess?

Especially since we also have to adapt to upper sec life now.

With all the piles and piles of homework plus endless lectures and tests :X

Besides that, we still have our CCA and other leadership commitments

Meaning we need to be more flexible in terms of time management.

And I don't think I'm doing it very well for now :/

Keeping my fingers crossed to be confident of that soon enough. LOL.

Anyways. The never-ending class tests and upcoming CT is unnerving -,-

Hi 2H babies..

Woah.. I'm getting all excited getting ready for sch.. Looking forward and yet not looking forward to coming back.. Back next Monday.

I'm looking forward cos I get to see the new classes and you guys.. I'm not looking forward cos I have to leave my little Kaelyn at home and as every other human being, I have to wake up so early again.

Work will get as much for me as it is for you.. and I think I will make it a point to at least write in this blog once a week. This is great platform to talk to you guys.. but sadly.. I only see Veena, Ferlyn, Fang Qi, WM , Kai Cheng and occasional Jasper.. leaving their tags.. Just wonder how the 2 Vals are doing, Val Y & Val T. as well as Ziwei, my beloved monitor.Well maybe the rest of you are just reading what I write.

Yes yes.. all of you are lamenting that work is depressing.. of cos.. the grades that come with it sometimes do too.. anyway.. it will get better at the end of the day as long as you work hard and view things positively.

Hi 2H babies..

In the midst of this hectic Sec 3 & 4 schedule.. which most of you are trying hard to cope, there is always some kind of distractions that may deviate you from your goal.

As now you are at your age that you can work.. some of you might even contemplate working for extra allowance.. but I am advising it is not a wise thing to do due to several reasons :

1) You hardly have time cos school finish late and sometimes you have to stay back for remedials.. so if you work for just that few hours, you can;t earn much... even worse.. it takes up your energy and time to complete your academic work..
2) You will feel tired all the time.. and ultimately affect your academic performance which you don't want.. Zzzzing in class is not an option.. CRAZY!!!
3) Results are the main focus now.. not $$$$$$... So if you have a $$ problem, discuss it with your parents.. like in CLOVES lesson.. is it a responsible decision now?????
4) Work in school will get more and tougher . it is just the beginning... then how can you manage.. and risk yourself feeling depressed and sad.. and overwhelmed

.... well you know what I mean...exhaust all means of solutions to try to make yourself not work ....cos you deep down know is not a good thing to do..

So if you know of your friends who are contemplating this idea.. pls snap them out of it...!!!!

So my 2H babies.. make the right decision.. I don't want to come to see you working outside. at this point in time!!!

I'm miss you guys a lot.. Sigh... the only thing that links me with you all together is this blog. Anyway, its never the same when we are not in the same class together... I'll be back on the 1st Feb and really hope to see you ladies and gentlemen..

Going on to the 3rd week of school and almost all of you are screaming for help... well told you in 2008 that senior years are never easy... As I always say .. consistency is the key...
Well now and then for the next 2 years, you all will feel a little dejected and about to give up.... especially for certain subjects..

Tell yourself " I can DO IT , my hard work will definitely pays off... and I must perservere"

Well.. do not procrastinate.. cos in senior years,. there is no time to.. so when there is homework , do it within 2 days.. cos there are more coming..

my file is horrendously thick now although its only the second week of the school term. so many piles of thick notes, somemore never give us files to file them in, my file is gonna burst anytime already. everytime they give out notes they'll go like, "i killed alot of trees for you all yknow!" and smile happily. yeah, sadists right. -___-

sigh, gonna have to do olevel chinese this year. guess i gotta buck up and start doing more chinese assessments / read more chinese books / see more of those chim stuff. and hopefullyyyyyyyyyy i'll be able to scrape through with an A. hopefully, though not very possible. teacher keeps telling us to drop HCL if we don't score A for chinese, but i think i'll not drop cause i'll simply work harder and hopefullyyyyyyy be able to pass HCL and get that bonus point. yeah, super desperate for bonus points. ><

anw, super happy that i actually know what the teachers are talking about! and how come the stuff we're learning in physics and chemistry are those topics that we learnt in sec 2? like kinetic particle theory (or something liddat) and reflection & refraction. but its a good thing i guess, muahahahah. ;)

my FT showed us the olevel results for last year's graduating batch! top scorer = 8A1s, 2As. takes jap third language somemore, think he really chiong like siao one. but i think she achieved her motive already, cause i'm super motivated now. but i think will fade one leh, how ah. ;x

FT looks sadistic when she smiles, but CC thinks that he's more sadistic than her. ok random. -,-

i need to go read textbooks liao - see imma super motivated now right! :)

How are all of you ? LOL

I'm fine. LMAO. Sec 3 life is great, lessons are very fun and interesting too (: but i know the bad thing is the HUGE amount of homework. Haha, maths is getting more understandable and fun for me, the person who suck at maths most. LOL so I'm really glad. Cause its either my hard work paying off, or the current chapter is very easy. LMAO. Lets all hope i can achieve what I'm striving for: IMPROVEMENT IN MATHS ! :D

Hahaha, okayokay. Enough about me. Although we may all be super super busy and, well yeah, busy with everything. What with our super hectic schedule and extended school hours and CCAs, we sure are a busy lot. But one thing, please don't forget about 2H'09 ! :x

Happy New Year.. my 2H09 babies...

Hmmm.. its the first day of school and I hope you all are getting on well..
Well .. the usual moans and groans about the new timetable, I guess.. but it was necessary. .. cos 45 mins is more effective for a lesson.. anyway.. noone can say late for class cos there is 5 mins movement time. Think positively... Adapt to changes.. makes you a stronger person

I hope you all are getting on well in your new Sec 3 class.. well like I said for the past 2 years.. Sec 3 & 4 are the crucial years.. actually.. what ever you do here..will determine your entire life..

errr.. cos the O level kinda of decide your fate , your job, your future.. cos.. whatever results in the O level determine what ever course you will take which will direct you to whatever career you want to be in...

It's really different without you as my form class.. sigh.. 2 years flew past don't ya think..

I don't know whether to rename the blog.. or maybe we will leave it as that..

#1 Adeline
From the rather quiet yet still a little hyper girl, you've grown to become more outspoken. It's always funny how you'd laugh the hyena laughters with Veena. It's great to see you being happy and always smiling. Continue with the smiles yar? Let's start working doubly, triply hard for the coming years so that we won't see those tears rolling off your cheeks again (: Love y' loads, uh Ryeowook? :D

#2 Jiayi
Though we've only become more close in this recent year, I can't help but feel that we're bonded as though we've been friends for decades. I love the way you'd always start keesiaoing in class all of a suddenly and shock Ah Mui. LOL (: And also the times where we'll be pouring our thoughts out together, and when you'd always provide me with your advices to the best of your abilities. Work hard for your psychology course yar? Let's let our friendship last long long long like you and KC :D

#3 Mui Han
Ah Mui, I really can't bear to be get into seperate classes with you ): You were always the one who's practical and there to help everytime when I was in doubts. That standard smile of yours really does brighten up my day (: Although you're getting noiser, I like it alot :D It's been really hard on you people, to have to cope with your tedious CCA and results at the same time. It must have been hard. But, 加油 khey? (;

Like always, you and Adeline never fails to make the class noiser by laughing the customised hyena laughters :D It won't be the same if we lacked those laugheters. It's been quite a while since we've really been working hand in hand on a project, be it in class or PSLs. Hope we'll be getting to do one together really soon (: I'm seriously gonna miss those days whereby we'd be walking around Northpoint some random day after school. And those times whereby we'd do silly stuffs together, like poking Eddie's nose x) Good luck in achieveing better grades in your studies :D Love y' always (:

I'm soooooo gonna miss your shrieks :P We aren't very close and not that far too. We'd have had been working so perfectly during the IPW last year with Adeline. It was fun to be around you. Those funny and laggish reactions you have are always another joke of the day (; Hahas. I didn't really have a good impression of you at the beginning of our Secondary School life. Cheer up to those who didn't acheive their desired/expected results ;) Haha, it's not end of the world yet, and you still have a long way to go. There's no point crying over spilt milk, CHEER UP LAH LOL.

We have to face the truth, but not cry over our mistakes. We should understand what is our mistakes, what we have done wrong and work harder the following year, that's more beneficial isn't it? Push yourselves further next year and everything would surely be better then before. That is my point of view of course, if you have your own thinking, go ahead. Society is cruel LOL HAHHA.

Dear 2H-ians.

First..Thank you Manyun for consolidating the attendance for the class chalet. Class, pls co-operate. Those who are aware of the notices that Manyun put up on the blog, please do a kind deed & remind your classmates.

Manyun has broadcasted a plea for the students for their Geog marks. I assume is either an assignment or a test mark. cos exams are just over and you have not seen the marks yet. 2H please remind these people. Teachers may have a good mind to not give you the mark if you do not take some self responsbility.

19th Oct is a school holiday (only schools are off), not a public holiday. It is given in lieu of the Deepavali which falls on the 17th (Sat).

I heard that 14th and15th Oct is Marking Day for the school and 23rd Oct is Promotion Day.

Sec 2 is coming to an end.. and your important last 2 years of CCHY will be arriving around the corner.. Remember I always say Consistency is the key.

I think that this class blog should still go on.. even though you are Sec 3 or 4, what do you all think?

Good news.... we have a class chalet to be happening straight after your EOY exams
16th to 19th Oct (Fri- Sun) at the bungalow @pasir ris park

this is all the credit of manyun and her mom.
I will be attending the bbq of the chalet, which highly likely be on a saturday.

The cost this time is $10/person , regardless whether you staying overnight or not.. It is already very affordable.. almost a price of your mac meal or a movie ticket,
i hope that at least 20 of you will turn up.

Woah!!! i just log on to the system and took a look at your Common Test marks.... OMG!!!! i almost fainted not from the tiredness of taking care of little Kaelyn but from your grades for English.. hmmm.. mind you I too took a look at 2D's marks as well. Generally they did better than you.. What happened???? Dont be discouraged..Better reflect on your mistakes and do better in the finals...

Oh yes!!I remembered the class visit to my place... and I have asked Ziwei and Val to arrange. As they could be busy with their volleyball practices, can you email /sms /call/msn them to let them know when you are available. It would be nice if someone in the class helped them with the arrangement too. Ask. We dont need everyone to come, evem if is 10 person.. you can still come visit...I dont want to stretch it to next week when school reopens. Visit me during your holidays. Please make sure that you are well when you visit cos babies are vulnerable to germs. I will do a temp. check at my gate ..Hahaha... I'm serious!

Dear 2 Hians..

Woo... Finally can steal a bit of time to write on the blog...

Getting up every 3 hrly at 12am, 3am, 6am for Kaelyn's feeds is really tiring... I never seen my eyes so looking like a panda in ages.. since I was in school mugging for exams..

Would like to thank you for your simple video dedication to me... Found it on Youtube. Queenie look so stunned. Thank you for my lovely monitor Ziwei and monitress Val Y. for helping to coordinate. Thanks to Queenie, Jiaying, the people who were interviewed and the person behind the camera too...

Secondly.. Thanks to the whole class for nominating me for kindest teacher award.. 2H did the nomination. 5B also did the nomination too...It takes 2 hands to clap, eh.. So part of the award goes to you too for being such a kind form class of mine... 2 years being together... I will really miss you people when you promote to Sec 3 next year... * Heartwrenching Sob! Sob!*

Updates on Kaelyn .. Yes other than the feeds.. Little Ms Kaelyn is Zzzzing all the way at 12 days old. There are only small window periods where you can catch her opening her eyes..Other than that .. wailing for food, diapers to be changes, etc....

Little Ms Tan has arrived on 24th Aug in the evening... What an experience... all i can say you ladies and gentlemen better appreciate your mum ... cos it's tough.

First... I'm surprised that you people did not do well for the supplementary summary test!!! Its' so easy.. I want to know the reason why if you can enlighten me...

2nd.. I hope that all is well with Mr Lee and Ms Seet.. any problems or if you don't understand some concepts ,do look for Mdm Samboo too..

and yes.. if i can help you here.. about argrumentative essay.. (an essay that requires your opinion)- meaning you have to give a counter argument in your essay...

For example... your homework.. ( Children today in Singapore are deprived of their childhood. Do you agree?)

Remember to state your stand first.. in your intro..too

In your body of your essay (at least 3 reasons , remember)- Why chilren are/are not deprived of their childhood.. Then give examples... There are different ways of giving examples.. via personal situations, evidence, facts..

Then for the final para.. give the counter argument (opposite of your opinion) - reason why.. & examples..

Then conclude.. properly with your stand again..

Oh yes.. thank you for your suggestions about the name... but... maybe we will call her Kaelyn, if I have not found a further suitable name...

Back post. i dun understand why my mum dun let me maple even though exams are over.

Argh my parents nvr praise when get good grades but will scold if get lousy marks. Hard leh. revise do notes everything also no use. Everytime get this crap. zzz

But good thing happened today. Our team got into finals for air competition. Yay! one sec 2 team and one sec 3 team. ahahaha need work hard too.

Rest well and have prepare for a full-fledged final lap.

How's life without me on the first day? Veena mentioned on the tagboard that she can't believe I've gone on maternity. Time flies.. Soon I'm be back. So how was your EL Common Test today. Hopefully it was managable for you .

For day 1 of my maternity.... playing the waiting game of the birth is really ...as you say "SIAN". It can be really boring. So.. I'm marking your compositions.. and will get someone to deliver them to you when I finish.

I'll try to update the class blog with my news regularly.. and hopefully you guys and ladies will do so too.

We have a visitor who had displayed uncalled for behaviour and opinion on other people's blogs using other people's name but not their own. As this person displays immaturity and malicious intention, just to get some response from the classes. He/She/Group may be trying to instigate or disrupt the harmony that the Sec 2 classes enjoy.. It is people like these.. that cause misunderstanding and fights to occur.. We shall not stoop to their level During CLOVEs, we talked about respect about people's spaces and responsiblity for what you say/do, I guess this person/group of people has not really understand that values.

Please do not response to the remarks by this person/group of people. Ignore their remarks. We shall not be bothered about about them/him/her, nor shall we talk of this incident openly in the blog.

Dear 2Hians,

For the past 2 days, Ms Tan M M has conducted supplementary for you. And from some students, the feedback is not too bad. Ms Tan had gone slower for you and made it clearer for you. So that's good!!!

Maybe we are too fast to assume tha Ms Tan can't help much.... and you did not take the time to ask her personally. Anyway, Ms Tan has good intentions... and is upset that you did not ask her.
I don't think I will give you Maths lessons as I'm afraid I'll trained you incorrectly cos I'm English & SS - trained after all... But I will always find help for you in some other ways...

In any case, if you still feel uncomfortable with your Maths concepts. You can go for Maths remedials conducted in the Sec 2 conhort or see any Sec 2 Exp Maths teachers .. like Mrs Ng or Ms Khaw.
